Chapter 375

"No."

"Did you see Evelyn enter this cabin with your own eyes?"

"...No." Annabelle bit her lip. "But I'm sure she came this way. We've searched the lobby, deck, and lounge. This is the only place left."

Paul rolled up his sleeves. "Let's break the door down first. Gregory's friend's safety comes first."

Linda nodded. "Yes, we need to help her."

Gregory raised a hand to stop them. "It's your wedding day. Don't let this delay the ceremony. Leave this to me."

"Evelyn's safety is more important," Linda insisted. "We won't rest until we know she's okay."

Annabelle suddenly interjected, "If we wait any longer, something bad might happen!"

Gregory's gaze sharpened as he noticed a figure hiding behind Annabelle.

"And who is this?"

Annabelle instinctively shifted to block the person. "A friend."

"A friend?" Gregory smirked. "At first glance, I thought it was my wife."

Linda gasped. "She really does look like Evelyn! Jane, why didn't you mention bringing a friend earlier?"

"She... she gets seasick. She was resting."

The girl kept her head down, silent.

Annabelle pressed urgently, "Mr. Wilson, aren't you worried about Evelyn?"

Gregory studied them both, his frown deepening.

Creak—

The cabin door suddenly opened.

Evelyn appeared, rubbing her eyes. "What's going on?"

Linda rushed over. "Evelyn! Are you okay?"

"Was there a thief?" Evelyn glanced at Annabelle. "Everyone on board today was invited."

Linda paused. "That's true..."

Gregory stepped protectively in front of Evelyn. "Do you want to rest a bit longer, or should we go to the lobby?"

"Wait!" Annabelle suddenly barged into the cabin. "There's definitely someone in here!"

Gregory tried to stop her, but it was too late.

Evelyn leaned against the doorframe, watching calmly as Annabelle ransacked the cabin.

His racing heart finally settled.
