Chapter 457
"Reginald, your grandson Sebastian is approaching thirty, isn't he? Has he found someone to settle down with yet?" Leonard cut straight to the chase.
With a deep sigh, Reginald Montgomery replied, "Don't even ask! He's still single and shows zero interest in dating. It's driving me mad. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he brought home a man and introduced him as his boyfriend!"
Leonard chuckled. "Well, I might have someone perfect for him. How about I introduce them?"
Reginald's eyes lit up instantly. "Really? Who is she? I've been searching everywhere! That boy has impossible standards—none of the women I've introduced have caught his attention. He always comes back from dates without even a second glance."
Without hesitation, Leonard said, "You know Evelyn Hartley, don't you? What do you think about her as a match for Sebastian?"
At that moment, Nathan slammed on the brakes, jerking the car to an abrupt stop.
Leonard lurched forward, caught off guard, and barely managed to steady himself by grabbing the back of the passenger seat.
"What the hell are you doing?" Leonard snapped, glaring at Nathan. "Have you forgotten how to drive?"
Nathan didn't respond. His jaw was clenched, his fingers gripping the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white. His dark eyes burned with fury as he shot a sharp, icy glare at Leonard through the rearview mirror.
Had Leonard lost his mind? He wanted to set Evelyn up with Sebastian?
Nathan wasn't the only one in shock. On the other end of the line, Reginald was equally stunned.
"Leonard, are you serious? Is this some kind of joke?" Reginald demanded.
Leonard remained calm. "We've been friends for decades, Reginald. Do you think I'd joke about something like this?"
"You—you—" Reginald sputtered, completely baffled.
Undeterred, Leonard continued, "You must have heard about Nathan and Evelyn's divorce by now. My son never appreciated what he had in her."
