Chapter 92
Lucas Laurier frowned deeply. "No, I'll contact international specialists for a consultation immediately."
"Unnecessary."
Ethan Sullivan's tone was icy. Lucas could only sigh in resignation.
Ryan Paisley stepped forward. "Let us know if you need anything."
"Hmm."
"There's actually one more thing."
Ethan lifted his gaze.
"Alexander is outside. About what happened last time—"
Before he could finish, the air around Ethan turned frigid.
"Send him away."
"Ethan, we've been brothers for years—"
"Unless he breaks up with Lily White."
Lucas quickly interjected, "The King family would never accept a woman like that!"
Ethan's eyes frosted over. "Show them out."
The two left empty-handed.
Outside the villa, Alexander King forced a smile at their grim expressions. "I'll come back another day."
Lucas patted his shoulder. "Go home for now."
Once Alexander was gone, Lucas yanked at his tie in frustration.
"This is a problem."
Ryan's gaze darkened. "The key is Evelyn Sullivan."
"Isn't Isabella more—"
"Then why is Evelyn the one standing by his side?"
Lucas suddenly understood. "Alexander needs to apologize."
Ryan's Adam's apple bobbed as he masked the shadows in his eyes.
In the bedroom, Evelyn flipped through a book.
"Are they gone?"
"Yes."
As she stood, Ethan suddenly gripped her wrist.
"Alexander came by."
Evelyn arched a brow in confusion.
