Chapter 191
Bianca pressed a peeled apple into her mother's hands. "Mom, don't worry about the money."
Mrs. Quinn held the apple with a sigh. "This hospital room must cost a fortune..."
"The boss prepaid six months in advance," Bianca cut in. "Just focus on getting better."
Her mother's eyes reddened. "We owe them so much..."
"I know." Bianca squeezed her hand. "We'll repay them soon."
At Brocade's design department, Yvonne stared blankly at her computer screen.
She flipped through design drafts mechanically, but all she saw was the Chief Designer's icy glare.
"Ten designs in one week."
The words echoed in her mind like a curse.
Without Bianca, where would she even find ten designs?
Her phone buzzed. A trending hashtag—#GloriousStatement—caught her eye.
One glance, and her blood ran cold.
Glorious's PR statement was textbook-perfect. The comments were a sea of praise.
"Now THIS is how a top brand handles things!"
"Unlike some Y-brand that went radio silent. The difference is obvious!"
"Glorious just earned a new fan!"
Yvonne's fingers trembled. She knew exactly what this meant.
Sophia burst into Evelyn's office, where she was reviewing documents.
"Evelyn! The internet is on fire!"
Evelyn didn't look up. "I saw."
"That's it?!" Sophia stomped her foot. "Glorious just played a brutal move!"
A fountain pen glided across paper in one smooth stroke.
"Will panicking help?"
Sophia froze.
Evelyn closed the file. When she lifted her gaze, there was steel in her eyes.
"Let them enjoy their moment."
Celebrations erupted in Glorious's design department.
Mason clapped his assistant on the back. "Hot pot's on me tonight!"
Cheers filled the room.
"Boss, you're the best!"
"I want the most expensive wagyu!"
The laughter died when a gasp came from the corner.
"Check Ins! That whistleblower just posted again!"
Every face paled.
