Chapter 75

"And you!" Nathan Evans turned to Evelyn Langley, his eyes burning with fury. "You're truly shameless. Out of all the men, you had to go after him? Are you happy now?"

Evelyn's chest heaved violently, her nails digging deep into her palms. She had done nothing wrong, yet she was inexplicably caught in this storm.

Ethan Winston wiped the blood from his lips, his gaze icy and terrifying.

"You saw everything we did, didn't you?" He curled his lips in disdain.

Nathan's jaw tightened. "Don't you have anything to say for yourself?"

"Explain what?" Ethan sneered. "That I like Evelyn? Or that I'm going to pursue her?"

The words struck Evelyn like a hammer, draining the color from her face.

Nathan's fist flew toward Ethan again. "You think you're worthy?!"

Staggering back from the blow, Ethan immediately shielded Evelyn behind him. "Why not?"

The protective gesture enraged Nathan further. His teeth clenched. "Of course not!"

"And what gives you the right to say that?" Ethan mocked. "As her ex-boyfriend?"

"It's not over until I say it's over!" Nathan roared.

Ethan's eyes darkened. "You were the one who ended things. Everyone was there—have you forgotten already?"

Nathan let out a bitter laugh. "So this was your plan all along."

A flicker of guilt crossed Ethan's face. "You let her go first..."

"That doesn't mean you get to chase her!" Nathan's voice was hoarse. "Ethan, are you that desperate?"

"Get a grip, Nathan." Ethan remained calm. "It's over. If it's not me, it'll be someone else."

The image of Evelyn in another man's arms flashed through Nathan's mind, shattering his last shred of rationality. Before he knew it, his fists were raining down on Ethan.

Ethan dodged swiftly, but protecting Evelyn left him vulnerable. He took several hits before finding an opening to strike back. Soon, both men were bruised and bloodied.

Meanwhile, Chloe Valentine had composed herself in the lounge, determined to face Evelyn with grace. After freshening up, she descended the stairs—only to find Nathan missing.

A waiter directed her to the garden, where the scene before her left her stunned—

Nathan and Ethan were locked in a vicious brawl!

"Stop it!" Chloe rushed forward, trying to pull Nathan away, but he shoved her aside. She fell hard onto the ground.

Dylan Lowell and Julian Roscente arrived at the commotion, their expressions shocked.

"What the hell?! Have you both lost your minds?"

"Stop this! Nathan! Ethan—"
