Chapter 346

Linda Lombardi's fingers clenched tightly around the hem of her janitor uniform.

Tyler Lombardi's forehead glistened with sweat as his shifty eyes darted down the hallway.

"Show me your employee badges." The assistant's voice turned sharp. "Or I'll call security immediately."

Linda suddenly ripped off her mask, revealing a sneer. "Cut the act! Get Nathan Evans out here!"

Tyler immediately straightened up. "Yeah! We have business with Mr. Evans. Who do you think you are to stop us?"

Just as the assistant reached for the intercom, the conference room door swung open.

"Mr. Evans..." The assistant exhaled in relief.

Nathan approached with measured steps, his tailored suit accentuating his broad shoulders under the office lights. His gaze swept over the imposters before lingering on Linda's face.

"Carry on." He nodded to his assistant.

The moment the office door opened, Linda barged in with her son in tow, heads held high.

Nathan studied the pair with detached calm.

The woman's crow's feet betrayed her calculating nature, thin lips pressed into a tight line. Though well-maintained, her sharp features undermined what might have been attractive.

Tyler resembled a street thug, his gold chain swaying with every movement.

Linda was sizing up Nathan too.

The man was even more handsome than she'd imagined, his diamond-studded watch nearly blinding her. She licked her lips greedily before suddenly shrieking:

"So you're the one who made my daughter miscarry? Think you can play with people's feelings just because you're rich?"

Tyler immediately chimed in: "My sister's in the hospital right now! You're gonna pay for this!"

Nathan leisurely unbuttoned his suit jacket and settled into his leather chair.

"Continue."

Linda bristled at his indifference. "Don't think your money makes you untouchable! We'll sue you into the ground!"

"Yeah!" Tyler slammed the desk. "We'll ruin your reputation!"

An eerie silence fell over the office.

Nathan's long fingers tapped the polished wood surface.

"Name your price."
