Chapter 352
"So?" Margaret Evans' face was icy.
"Non-members are prohibited from entering." The attendant politely blocked the doorway.
Linda Lombardi rolled her eyes. "Then just sign her up for membership!"
Margaret's knuckles turned white as she clenched her handbag. Lifetime membership at this club required spending three million. Who did this woman think she was?
"I don't care! We're having afternoon tea here today!" Linda screeched.

Margaret forced a smile. "My apologies, I didn't notice..."

Linda jumped in. "Remember when I had that fight with Mrs. Evans here last time? You were there."
The ladies instantly recalled the scandalous scene, their expressions turning knowing.

"All water under the bridge!" Linda crowed. "As they say, it's better to resolve—"
Margaret wanted to strangle her. This idiot had just publicly acknowledged their feud and confirmed Nathan's scandal!
"I see." Mrs. Zhao beamed. "We won't intrude on this... family reunion then."
Margaret's face darkened. Family? With her?
Linda was already gawking around. "How much does that chandelier cost? Are those vases by the entrance for sale?"
After tea, Margaret tried to leave. Linda grabbed her arm. "There's a new jewelry store across the street. Let's go!"
"I have other—"
"What could possibly be more important?" Linda said shamelessly. "Who's going to pay if you don't come?"
Margaret saw black.
